Extend Your Bucket-Filling!

The past year, my classroom was engrossed in bucket-filling endeavors!  Toward the middle of the year, it fizzled a little and I had to re-introduce the books.  That is when I came across this little gem:
I LOVE this book, especially for upper elementary.  I used it in my 2nd grade classroom, but only used portions of it.  My favorite part is the "10 Facts of Life".  It teaches students that life isn't always fair, even if you are trying to fill buckets.

One of the things I REALLY like about the book is that it goes more into depth about using a LID for your bucket.  It talks about appropriate times to use the lid, when a lid doesn't word, etc.  This is definitely a more in-depth book to use!  Check it out!

  6. I love the new book. I have seen the other Bucket Filler books, but not that one. I did bucket fillers last year and plan on using it again this year with a little twist.

  7. I love bucket filling. The other day I posted a printable for doing Acts of Kindness and it looks like a movie filmstrip for each "act", it would be so cute with your movie/hollywood theme.
Can't wait to see what this blog brings.

  11. I haven't seen this one. Thanks for sharing. I do bucket filling in my room too and I have found the same problem with my kids. I will be purchasing this book. Have you seen the website for bucket filling with the newsletter?

  12. I did bucket filling in my room last year as well! I'll have to check this book out. Thanks for the tip!

  13. Thanks so much for sharing this book. I was just thinking the other day that my bucket fillers are "spilling" a bit and slowing down on bucket motivation! I can't wait to get this book and try it out. :)
